Managing
transitions at work
- We
don't think about how to manage transitions until a crisis hits, then
we blame ourselves and become powerless or blame others and become ineffective.
- Those who
make changes regularly generally find them easier.
- When you
find yourself listing all the negatives associated with a change, challenge
yourself to make an equally long list of the positives.
- If you
can't see any positives, talk to those who can or get more exposure
to whatever is new for you.
